昭和２０年以前の絵葉書に「石山女角力一行」や「女相撲高玉本部」というのがあるが、このポスターとの関連は不明。ポスターの中央に大きく家紋を入れ、それに重ねて女相撲とサーカスの演技図を入れている。おもしろいデザインのポスターである。
2008年1月から更新されていないようですが、サーカスのみならず興業全般にわたる図像を公開してくださっています。
できればこれからも更新して下さる事を望みます。

こりゃすごいっ！！BibliOdysseyはもの凄いのだけれど、こちらもまた図像好きにはたまらないサイトですね。残念ながら日本語での表示はされませんが、そのうちされるかな？
各図像を見る画面の上の方に高解像度画像へのリンクが貼られていて、そこから図像をダウンロードできます。下の内臓の図(?)も5.1MBのtiffでした。細かなところまで確認できてうれしいですね。
The World Digital Library (WDL) makes available on the Internet, free of charge and in multilingual format, significant primary materials from countries and cultures around the world.
The principal objectives of the WDL are to:

- Provide resources for educators, scholars, and general audiences;
